Jeff gives the show another miss ~ George Jenson steps up behind the microphone and joins Fred to talk with Tucson-based magician, John Shryock, about his current gig at Old Tucson’s Nightfall and other illusionary things.
Later in the Grand Old Pueblo Program, they speak with Karleena Ravenwood, Founder and Director of the Tucson Women’s Chorus. Karleena shares her story in Tucson and the origins of this very embracing program in our community.

Fred and Jeff welcome Kaitlin Jensen from the Downtown Tucson Partnership and some of her Downtown Tucson Friends to the big show. Aside from talking about all the usual wonderful stuff going on in the heart of our community, they highlight two huge events, giving us all an opportunity to discover a lot more about our hometown neighbors.
First, it’s time for the 40th Annual Tucson Meet Yourself!!! Three days of fun, food and fellowship ~ celebrating everything we are here in the Old Pueblo. And second, as part of the event, the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF) is holding its annual AIDSWALK to kick off the final day of activities on Sunday.

A stunned Fred and elated Jeff welcome Emile “Terry” Therrien and Leslie Freed to the program this week. Terry is the Executive Director of the 390th Memorial Museum Foundation and Leslie is the Director of Development. They talk about their mission and the big remodel and grand re-opening this weekend at the Pima Air and Space Museum property.
Also on the big show, Demion Clinco from the Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation talks about Modernism Week and all the mostly free activities going on to celebrate the Old Pueblo’s architectural history!
