Randy will talk about the upcoming TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k Night Run/Walk Run being sponsored by the Southern Arizona Roadrunners and Jocko will give us the low down on Tucson’s own Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).

Mike Robertson talks about life on the ranch in Southern Arizona and promotes him new book, Cowboy Stories: Grit, Horses, and Faith.

The Arizona International Film Festival is still running and this is the final week to check out some fabulous independent films from around the world.  Mia Schnaible from the Festival brings Des Kilbane to the show to talk about A Fighting Heart, a documentary about fighter, politician and poet Johny Kilbane.

We also sneak in a song or two by our cousins, Ronstadt Generations, who just released a new album called Epilogue.

Plus, Friend-of-the-Show Tony Zinman shows up to promote a bunch of his stuff!!!

This space is usually reserved for our friends at the Downtown Tucson Partnership and this week is no exception!!!  Fred and Jeff welcome the lovely Caitlin Jensen who had to choose only two out of hundreds of events going on this month.

This Sunday Cyclovia is happening and there will be a dozen roses from Mayfield Florist for one of our listeners who pay very close attention to this bit of the show.

Also at stake are two passes for the opening evening of the Arizona International Film Festival.  Mia Schnaible from the Festival will talk about the 23rd annual event and we’ll get to talk with Philip Sedgwick about an award winning short film he wrote.

Spring is in the air and one of our favorite events is just around the corner.  Fred and Jeff welcome Bill Viner, Co-Founder of the Tucson Festival of Books!  Bill brought H. Alan Day who wrote The Horse Lover ~ A Cowboy’s Quest to Save the Wind Mustang along with Lynn Wiese Sneyd.  Both will be at the festival talking about their book and the writing process.

Also on the Big Show, Beads of Courage Founder Jean Baruch talks about their upcoming Courage Rally on March 13th at the Metal Arts Village!

Plus, we want to give a huge shout-out to all the wonderful staff of the University of Arizona’s Facility Management Team.  They are the ones who not only make the TFoB look so good, but are the stewards of out beloved campus all year long ~ thanks for all your work!!!
