Beads of Courage, a program started here in Tucson by a nursing student at the University of Arizona, provides innovative, arts-in-medicine supportive care programs for children coping with serious illness, their families and the health care providers who care for them.
Wright Flight is also be on the big show talking about their 25 year, award-winning history of helping our young folks achieve their goals through aviation. This group began in Tucson and is now in several states!!!

The Rotary Club of Tucson is presenting the Tucson Classics 5th Annual Car Show this Saturday. The show raises funds for the Reading Seed Children’s Literacy Program ~ a program working in 100 local schools, helping 2,500 children with literacy before they get to the 4th grade. Folks from the Rotary Club, Reading Seed and the car show join Fred and Jeff in studio to talk about these three great programs!!!

Jim has been the City of Tucson’s Director of Tennis for the last 36 years and has received all manner of accolades for his contributions to this great activity ~ including having the Reffkin Tennis Center named for him! The conversational volleys flew!!!
