The Tucson Association of Realtor Shootout is here again Tucsonans! I got to talk to Diana Cannon, Tournament Director of this year’s Shootout about the tournament in Tucson. This is their 24th annual tournament and I’ve got to say it sounds too good to miss out on. This tournament was founded by Bill Viner, a coach who’s goal was to not only bring players together on the field but bring them and their families together for a tournament of fun. This year there will be approximately 5,000 players (358 teams) on our fields from all over the country as well as our u14 international team from Hermosillo, Mexico. This tournament is brought to Tucson to get kids out there playing and bring families together for three days of fun events. The tournament will kick off at 6:00pm Friday the 17th at Fort Lowell Park hosting the Friday night events as well as the Saturday highlight games. Remember, there will be approximately 45 different fields for our players this year so make sure to check online at fortlowellshootout.com for field schedules and information about this years tournament.
