We talk with Schuyler Lininger about the history of the hospitality industry in Tucson.

- The “BRAINSTORMING” get together to discuss the Cactus Drive-in Theater Project being held Sunday, October 17th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. All interested people are invited. The sesson will be at O’Shaughnessy’s Restaurant, 2200 N. Camino Principal
- Tubac’s day-long celebration of Anza Days on Saturday, October 16th, from 9am to 5pm. In the village there will be Yaqui dances, street theatre reenactments, a parade by the Rio Rico HS Marching Hawks Band, guided walking tours of Tubac’s National Historic District, and a variety of festival foods. One highlight of many will be the colorful horseback re-enactment of Anza’s arrival in Tubac.
- The Rotary Club of Tucson’s 4th Annual Classics Car Show on Saturday, October 16th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tucson Roller Derby fundraiser at the Slaughterhouse on Friday, October 15th, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
- Upcoming events with the Kino Heritage Society, which is worling toward the canonization of Padre Eusebio Francisco Kino.
